A short section of log missing can be problematic but with the advanced bundle here the digitising of the missing section can be achieved rapidly. The video shows the process below.
First step is import the depth interval into LogScope. This is show in the figure below:
The second step is to choose patching and select the log that has the missing section as shown below.
The final step which is really easy on a tablet or iPad pro s to follow the background trace filling in the missing bit as shown in the final figure
